hey everyone.. got great news for u all...
in sports... lance armstrong did it again and again and he did it six times.. he won yet again e tour de france and wat is more admirable of him was that 8 years ago he was only given e chance of 50% survival and he not only overcame them he surpssed them...okay after all it was sheer determination and teamwork with the US postal that gave him this sweet victory...
in sports.. M.schumacer yet again won the watever F1 race but the runner-up.. buttons came from 13th to 2 .. amazing yet he did it...
Maybe this stoies could propl us forard as believing that we can rise against all odds...
the black hole theory that a man once gave his life for it admittted that he was wrong and not ll infomation could be lost forever there...it must have been a difficult task cos he could just live by it and claimed this his own yetin the name of science and call he gave it all...

eehee.
uncertainty is inevitable ,but worrying is optional
whoa... i realise it has been a very long time since i last blog.. school holidays are ending in a few days...euro2004 is ending its season too in the next few weeks... if u ask me i think that the phrase` Not all who starts slow, finishes last' for me i am not that avid fan of euro that cathes every match but i will check out the results in the newspaper or other media... last night while many are sumber in their sleep( including me), the giants have fallen... after making the tight games portugal drew with england 2-2 so for the ultimate kick-off portugal won with a lead of one point 6-5 ( correct me if i am wrong)... all odds were against Portugal in matches against spain and england.. but i believe that with sheer determination and will, last shall be first... haha...
this season saw the fav. packing early home... italy, Germany, spain... wohoo... wat happened? if u ask me i dun noe but its a pity..

days are fleeting by fast without me realising that now is already e 3rd week of sch hols. we always claim that we are busy, no time for chit-chat... but hey antz ae busy too! sometimes i wonder whether issit truly business that kept us away frm things that wee do not want to do, places that we do not want to go, events that we donot want to attend..we often do the things that surprises even ourselves and often hearthis echo of "what was i thinking" in our minds...
everyone is perfect... so why pple spend so much time and $$ to go for eXtreme Makeover..they change every single thing, frm their eyes, hair, to the way they dress...what pain it must be to change everythng and hear pple judging ur appearance that it was horrendous when u feel comfortable with it ...how funny...

salt...
we have often taken it for granted in our daily life.. without it would our life be better, i doubt so.. since salt has been ard since the start of century.. we might have hated its searing pain applied on wounds, but it was used extensively for preservation even until today.. salt without its saltiness wld be useless, life without hope wld be greatly unbearable.. like the salt, we must be reminded that it preserves us even though it hurts..

Read this interesting strange phenomenom in mail ,
There was this case in this hospital's Intensive Care ward where patients always died in the same bed and on Friday mornings regardless of their age, gender, medical history or medical conditions. This puzzled the doctors and some even thought that it had to do with the supernatural. Why the death at that same bed on Fridays? So the doctors decide to go down to that particular ward to investigate the cause of the incidents....Come Friday morning, everyone at the hospital ward nervously waited for the terrible phenomenon to occur again. The new unknowing patient laid there.....Some doctors holding wooden crosses, prayer books and other holy objects to ward off evils.... waiting....the patient was resting still.then 8am...... 8:30am........Just before the 'cursed' time...... the door to the ward swung open...... > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Then Ah Soh, the part-time Friday cleaner, comes in and unplugs the life support system so that she can use the vacuum cleaner....

Rather puzzled but sound sick hat a life's gone for the vacumm... `~`
holidays started.. its going to be a short bittersweet one..

My BiG fAt GrEeK EpIc.. you guessed it...Troy..

wHen i FiRst Saw It i wAs QuITe cOnFuSeD bY tHe ChArAcTeRS as ThEY All sOuNd tHe samE To Me..hehe, BuT As It PrOcEeDed it was totally..nice and inspiring..
And they shall say 'i lived in the times of achillies and of hector ...
they story of love power glory and the greed of men was greatly pictured in this 2hrs and 45mins film.. i watched today with another fren in cathay orchard.. hehe even though it was jolly well a school day but hey! our FT broke her promise of a movie at the last minute and played us out... yeah.. the movie was great.. it was a well balance between war and love, hero and cowardice... besides the cast, the costumes were rather 'interesting', imagine greekians wore skirts as high as ur mordern pe shorts, showing off ur leegs.. hehe.. but above all else i think the armour, the shin guard, the elbow guard and the helmet brought out the heroic effect in all the cast's role, that of achillies, that of hector and some of that of paris.
i was rather awe-struck, even at this moment, it could be the high satisfaction that i finally watched a movie and it was definately not a letdown..
"we are like little wheats of today, forgotten by tomorrow what we leave is a legend of yesterdays..
the whole thing ended rather sadly as troy was conquered by the greeks due to the oversight of king Priam, bringing the Trojian horse into the city gates, desTROYing every thing.
Almost evey hero died heroically, hector died while putting up a splendid battle against achillies in revenge of his cousin and achillies died for love when paris(Bloom) shot him in the garden with the arrow thru his heels...sad..
" i endured pain that no other has endured before ,i kissed the hand of the enemy that killed my beloved son"
King priam of troy came by nite into enemy's camp ,kissed the bewildered achillies hand said this and with red sore eyes, demand backs the dragged body of his prince and heir to the throne, achillies broke down and with a gd heart set prisilla free in return to troy, this touching scene truly was amazing as it saw the deep emotions of the fearless achillies..
all in all it was a very nice movie...five stars!!!
