salt...
we have often taken it for granted in our daily life.. without it would our life be better, i doubt so.. since salt has been ard since the start of century.. we might have hated its searing pain applied on wounds, but it was used extensively for preservation even until today.. salt without its saltiness wld be useless, life without hope wld be greatly unbearable.. like the salt, we must be reminded that it preserves us even though it hurts..

Read this interesting strange phenomenom in mail ,
There was this case in this hospital's Intensive Care ward where patients always died in the same bed and on Friday mornings regardless of their age, gender, medical history or medical conditions. This puzzled the doctors and some even thought that it had to do with the supernatural. Why the death at that same bed on Fridays? So the doctors decide to go down to that particular ward to investigate the cause of the incidents....Come Friday morning, everyone at the hospital ward nervously waited for the terrible phenomenon to occur again. holidays started.. its going to be a short bittersweet one..

And they shall say 'i lived in the times of achillies and of hector ...
they story of love power glory and the greed of men was greatly pictured in this 2hrs and 45mins film.. i watched today with another fren in cathay orchard.. hehe even though it was jolly well a school day but hey! our FT broke her promise of a movie at the last minute and played us out... yeah.. the movie was great.. it was a well balance between war and love, hero and cowardice... besides the cast, the costumes were rather 'interesting', imagine greekians wore skirts as high as ur mordern pe shorts, showing off ur leegs.. hehe.. but above all else i think the armour, the shin guard, the elbow guard and the helmet brought out the heroic effect in all the cast's role, that of achillies,that of hector and some of that of paris.
i was rather awe-struck, even at this moment, it could be the high satisfaction that i finally watched a movie and it was definately not a letdown..

the whole thing ended rather sadly as troy was conquered by the greeks due to the oversight of king Priam, bringing the Trojian horse into the city gates, desTROYing every thing.
Almost evey hero died heroically, hector died while putting up a splendid battle against achillies in revenge of his cousin and achillies died for love when paris(Bloom) shot him in the garden with the arrow thru his heels...sad..
" i endured pain that no other has endured before ,i kissed the hand of the enemy that killed my beloved son"
King priam of troy came by nite into enemy's camp ,kissed the bewildered achillies hand said this and with red sore eyes, demand backs the dragged body of his prince and heir to the throne, achillies broke down and with a gd heart set prisilla free in return to troy, this touching scene truly was amazing as it saw the deep emotions of the fearless achillies..
all in all it was a very nice movie...five stars!!!

hey ...sunday;s here ..
today was a bit of tiring.. morning there was a service and by noon i had to go for amaths tuition n reveal the truth abt my grades to e teacher..*sigh* evening was spent together at the eastt coast park with my family.. and my youngest brother almost got lost.. he was skating out alone on the skate scooter.. e one with 2 wheels... away from us... it was devastating trying to comb him down.. he walked on aimlessly and it took ard 10 min to find him.. it was 2nd brother that he saw and oth returned safely.. he burst into tears.. received a scolding and sat dere like a quiet lamb... it just goes to show how aimlessly we can b occassionaly when we fail to look ard and see how amazing it was if we could just remember the landmarks.. hehe.. faith must not be just words.. it must be of action..

hey , warm saturday afternoon...
just came bacwith a new haircut.. whoppee, felt coole now that all that hair is gone. today was great.. went for a dip in cck ...the waterwas just perfect.. yesterday we had e RFG at my house, plaanning has started for the east coast park outing in june.. many things happening and this is just the begining...hehe... thank the lord for giving me strengh and gd time management while doing all e papres.. result back by monday.. still waiting .this process awaits all who finishes...

hey hey very soorry that i hardly blog now a days. hmm a thousand apologies to u guys out there who have been waiting patiently for this..
exams just ended yesterday(wohoo!).. buut i got training...~so that leaves me with no other choice but to stay back since it was and has been confirmed by 2 pple,..hiyah.. so there i was , in the hot sun. the saddest thing was i heard that we suppose to run for 10 sunny hot minuits, giving u 600 seconds.. argh.. what else is there a better way to kickstart my training day and spoil my plans..needless to say end all my exam stress any way training was rather joyous. :)
oh yeah , today was not as interesting as it was yesterday we had a interviewing crass course, a social etiqquite(wateva it is , it was totally horrible)and i found out that the section a of chemistry , i only had like 17 marks.. sad and i am the chemistry rep , how ironic.. life is like that , we just have to keep trying and never gve up ...
so let's have a quick tip on interviews..
1)dress decently(it's all for the interviewer
2)no relatives involved(esp older folks)
3)no durians,garlics & baked beans(lest u attract unwanted attention)
4)choose dark coloured apparrell(jackets for professonalism)
5)smile (winnning stategy :)0
so all remember now these interresting thing taught in school..

hey pple very long never update... hiyahz.. i am always bogged down b the sch.. even weekends are always filled with training, take for example this coming 27 march.. as early as 0730 i have to be there for the a maths lesson... wat a life we have ... art that i got training till +/-12 den at 1300 got meet the parents... wat a nice weekend we have... arghh
the events happening was that school has preceeded into term 2 and continued into day 3 todae... morning assembly had te talk about the mother giraffe... Graf? u may wonder.. here it goes..
the mother giraffe would kick the new-born graf to make it stand , kicking and kicking... so suggle the little one.. but when the little one finally managed to do it on it's own.. the moter kicked it again.. Y? to make sure that she would be quick to remember how to stand when the predators come.. ]

not realli... this hols was ful of ho,ework .. so how can it ever be a nice relaxsation one? toda still unable to finish all my homework.. suppose to finish all by this week end. haha, watched a movie last fridae, Haunted Mansion , not that it was realli good but just that it was perfectly okay. together with other frens, our intended movie was mystic river, thot tt we could pass the NC-16 thing cause we are by right 16, 1988 babes right? but the lady at the ticketing box disagreed, i mean we are jus months younger and this does not make any sense.. she should be erected from her position as a sales manager, fancy her selling at the heart-beat of the country yet so narrow-minded.
the water level here is quite high , every now and then you will hear part of singapore being flooded.. not as bad as other country ,jus arounbd 2m the most..
the advertisement nowadays are getting more and more creative, the heniken beerr advert with the guy reaching for himself the pins that the shorter tried desperately to reach and the sng song(me and you)
the pther one that was funny was the seoul gardens', the prawns crying help... was the motive there to stop us from eating prawns and 'save' the prawns or was it otherwise? i really don't noe and does not wish to comment further.. hehe

we had the chinese test today and by the looks of it i think that i will barely make it. The school made arrangments with a sports psychologist... wang and he was here today giving us some motivational stuff.. he talked about this athelete , carl lewis if i am not wrong.. mentally preparedness..let me give u the story another time.. but by the way i think that the gold medal he took in long jump in 1996 olympics.. whoosh.. it was totally breath-taking... he came from barely abled to qualify to the 4 time world champion.. thru todae i realise that things take it slowly at a time and is we are focused on reaching our goal , believe it we can achieve it... yeah.. thats the spirit.
