Hide and Seek

i have been thinking about this lately. You know the whole concept isn't something new? The first man on earth had played that long before time in the garden of Eden. He hid from God and it was God who sought after him. i think the game has a lot of emotions running thru, like when u are hiding, somehow u dun wanna be found out so fast but when time past too long, u are worried that u might never be found. Ironic game.

Monday, June 16

heyheyhey!

i have been away for a loong time and i guess the blog is something tt never seems to disappear even though u have no intentions of losing it. haha.

events this june thus far:
4-6 :climbed berkelah waterfall
9-14: ABC 08 @ BAtu Pahat

Like many others, the waterfall trip was breath-taking. Literally and physically, ha ha. The sight of the majestic (pardon me for using this word) waterfall was worth all the peeling skin that i am having now. when night falls, and all around seems dark and perhaps scary, the stars above are ever so many and ever so shiny! All it takes of me was to look up and behold His creation. And it was really good. One thing tt i realise was that even the best camera could not reproduce the image of the stars.Perhaps this is something that speaks volume of the creation and the created creatures' creation .Certainly best to bring a photographic memory with you.

CAMP!
I signed up for dorm, not knowing who i was dorming with until the arrival at the hotel Katarina. To my initial shock and horror, i had 2 notorious , and loud and noisy kids under my care. Knowing and having that perception did not help matters, except abundant grace and patience. All that soon gave way to a more personal friendship with them. haha.. i was their mummy for that 5 days. Somehow, i feel like i am looking at a flashback of my child hood, some parts of it reflects the same issues and contemplations.
Looking back, i feel that they are quite a blessing to me. I shall elaborate when time permits . with pics!

Right now, i am leaving for Driving lessons at 1030.
round and round!

Sunday, March 16

heys!
this week is a interesting week..
first there is a Good Friday..The ransom paid, the freedom released.
however, something besides the death happened.. as it was said and fulfilled, He rose again on the third day...
what more can i ask for?
looking at the universe and believing it all started with a big bang? or into history and evidences such as B.C (Before Christ) and A.D( After Death)??
Consider Christ!

Monday, March 10

sigh
the weather is cool but somehow i dun feel it in me
i dun noe if i am thinking ..

Friday, March 7

hi everyone!
Something about the ideology of L struck me..in his last words, 'no matter how gifted you are,you alone cannot change the world'. i think in everything it is like this, we are constantly using our own strength to fight the battles and wars. I always forget.. or rather, choose not to remember that i have someone greater than the enemy, on my side. But i dun think that i am gifted in the area of maximising my brain capacity. haha.. perhaps, perhaps, perhaps..

Love is like that, its mere presence transforms the ugliness of life into a beautiful trophy of grace. Love covers the scars of sin. Love heals wounds and eases the pain of the past. We all need to be loved and we all need to love.

There is no greater love than this, that a man would give His life for a friend.. there's no higher sacrifice than paying the price on the cross.

Thursday, January 24

Myabe it is just me and the laziness.. that is oh-so-apparent and inherent...

Hello all,
There will be a new children's movie out in December called "The Golden Compass". The movie has been described as "atheism for kids" and is based on the first book of a trilogy entitled "His Dark Materials" that was written by Phillip Pullman. Pullman is a militant atheist and secular humanist who despises C. S. Lewis and the "Chronicles of Narnia". His motivation for writing this trilogy was specifically to counteract Lewis' symbolisms of Christ that are portrayed in the Narnia series. Clearly, Pullman's main objective is to bash Christianity and promote atheism. Pullman left little doubt about his intentions when he said in a 2003 interview that "my books are about killing God." He has even stated that he wants to "kill God in the minds of children ". It has been said of Pullman that he is "the writer the atheists would be praying for, if atheists prayed."While "The Golden Compass" movie itself may seem mild and innocent, the books are a much different story. In the trilogy, a young streetwise girl becomes enmeshed in an epic struggle to ultimately defeat the oppressive forces of a senile God. Another character, an ex-nun, describes Christianity as "a very powerful and convincing mistake." In the final book, characters representing Adam and Eve eventually kill God, who at times is called YAHWEH. Each book in the trilogy gets progressively worse regarding Pullman's hatred of Jesus Christ. "The Golden Compass" is set to premier on December 7, during the Christmas season (and staring Nicole Kidman), and will probably be heavily advertised. Promoters hope that unsuspecting parents will take their children to see the movie, that they will enjoy the movie, and that the children will want the books for Christmas. Please consider a boycott of the movie and the books. Also, pass this information along to everyone you know (including church leaders). This will help to educate parents, so that they will know the agenda of the movie. Hello all,There will be a new children's movie out in December called "The Golden Compass".
