bleagh..
i dunno whether is this a good news or bad news cos everytime i think about it it really irks me.
cos on one hand , we must not be so mean to leave so suddenly, but on the other hand, i feel like it is God who allowed this to happen so that i can make the switch.
if only u knew what i'm talking about, give u a hint-rice bowls.
Not Yoshinaya, haha, not any japanese rice set or anything but that i mean i got a job starting soon at NUS. whee
so what ever plans u have for me Lord, i know tt it is in Ur Good hands.

heyhey everyone..
i totally missed the sound of rapid clicking of the keys , not the doorkeys but at the keyboard !
so much has happened and now we are all grown up in this fast-moving society, where it is in Singapore that i call home.
Betcha din noe that Singapore is turning into more than garden city, the hot wheels are coming to city hall, by that i mean the F1 cars will be zooming to town .. with the merlion and the ferris wheel , the durian ( esplanade ) and other interesting buildings ( scotts towers, reflections) that are springing up with a nice-looking price tag.
with the high life that is coming to Singpaore, i wonder if the next generation, that is kids like us are prepared for it. Imagine a daily happening nght life( imagination only), a weekly movie retreat at The Cathay, a monthly getaway gamble at the IR ( there is gg to be 2 IRs), a yearly annual events like F1 racing, watching world billards championships... who needs to visit the Zoo or the botanical gardens during the school holidays where all the attraction is gg to be at sentosa and marina bay!!
That is why , kids today NEED to be warned especially about the dangers that all these social ills. Who said that the smoking advert is too scary? but in reality, unless we want our generation to suffer, the truth is as painful as can be seen.
Just a quick update on myself, I'm currently working for EmitAsia, waiting for Uni to start.
working is a love hate relationship, where you begin to hate what you loved, or you love what you hate, whichever the case, i believe this theory holds!
Life is happening all around you but what is that to you if it all amounts to nothing in the end, if u do not know who's the one that is the life giver.

hihi all ..
i'm sure all u guys and gals out there are probably looking out for nice dresses and suits for DDAy.. i mean i quite like figure it out that i am running short of time so, do not be surprised if u see me runnig down orchard road on friday afternoon looking for a last minute dress.
i will be busy these few days looking after p1 kids. I am helping out at my church's DVBS.. ie Daily Vacation Bible School.. its quite an interesting camp for those who are p6 and below.. but for me... im no longer eligible for camper hence im helping out as Group Leader, in charge of 12 p1 kids.
they are all quite nice.. working together with them and my 2 asst Grp leaders, Xin An and Shi Ting, they can be quite hard to control at times.
but overall, good to work with.
been tired out recently by another group of pple. they are non other than my dear dear j 1 touch rugby team. whoa! they sure noe how to take holidays , they invited us ( OR RATHER THEY forced US) at least 4 of us to join them on the fateful saturday the 26 of Nov.
it was a casual game of of touch rugby, but i could feel it taking a toll and me old old body. i think im seriously getting older than i thought. i was tired from even the thursday training before the saturday and my legs.. ooo.. spare me the agony of ever running again! ( maybe i'll pick it up again after when im really ready?) anyway.. to those j1 team : u have the potential.. unleash it! one day i'm sure we will be proud of u too!

looking at an email from a friend evokes lots of emotions.. like the photos that is together with an invitation for a class gathering.. miss you guys of PAE 05Ao1!!.. and the ogls with the attitude!!
life is more and more interesting now. with so many things happening at the same time..
lets just say today i learnt a gd lesson on forgiveness. Its applicable to everyone! i mean you cant go on with life hating everyone, but if the other party has like sort of a sense of repentence, or even if he doesnt, i think the greatest gift to him/her is forgiveness. just like we need forgiveness at some point in our life to move on.
just this afternoon, my brother ask me whether i found my bed full of ants last time when i was younger, i replied saying i cant remember, its too long ago , why?
he sort of smiled and told me that he did sprinkle sugar on my bed ! just to get back at me.. for a while, i was laughing. How childish were we (esp boys )last time? very is an understatment!!
And they said sweet dreams
talking abt dreams , my fren ask whether i had lots of dreams lately, den i agreed with her. ha, she told me that dreams are signs of our brain activity. probably the thinking kind of activity.
And i think so too

i watched ET . it was quite an emo story and i think it was the nicest movie for all ages. more than just the boy and the alien..
if those who stay near sengkang and wondering how to throw frisbee professionally, there is a group near the mrt that trains there .Today i met up wit amy and con at the field there, it was actually amy's school training but anyway, they all throw so nicely even with the wind.. i think my class needs more throwing sessions.. heh..
time is a constant that is constantly being diminished.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... thanks for hearing my silent screams.. heh.. sometimes i ask myself whether or not the answers that i get from Him are what i want. It sounds bad of me but here is how the cycle goes: first u pray for something , He answers it and u request for another sign . He shows you the door that ends all your questions but somehow, you cant just put your faith to it and trust that beyond everything is in His good planning. you cant accept it as it as and u want more, but seriously nothing works if you stop beliving. come'on man, look at the whole universe all around u, one inch closer to the sun and we will be toast one inch further we will be iced. self-reproach. heh.
oh well, been living in the dungeons of misery, lift me up ..
they say self discipline as if we all dun noe abt it, i think the last thing tt we all need is pity. seriously a simple phrase like " are you ok?" can really break one into tears. when used inappropriately that is.

i'm begining to dread post-exams activities. not that they are not that exciting... just that given this time , it gives you the brain to think and plan ahead for 9 weeks later , the next round of prelims is coming.
yesterday was such a great day la. youth day was the excuse for the day off and early in the morning, i went to watch cars. Not bad a movie, filled the cinema with laughs. the average age of movie-goers in there was around my age. Average is calculated as the age of adults+ age of young kids= to around my age. haha.. if u want speed and thrills, the movie cars might just be what you have been looking for.
Around the afternoon, i went out with church friends. haha, the 4 of us , mel con cherry and me, had a really good time eating meatballs from sweden @ IKEA. haha, went around Ikea looking for presents and for con's inspiration. heh.. the meatballs and the chicken wings, the cheese cake and the potato salad. whoa.. what else can you ask for?
we took a trip to Queensway, can you believe it, Lampard was at one door waiting for us and when we exited, Kaka was there at another door !! Real pity both teams are out by now, still thinik its undeserving.. shopped ard there , saw a lot of interesting stuff. i think queensway is such an interesting place, good in its old rustic ways, never needed upgrading though u can get lost easily there.. haha

ha.. exams are finaly over and the world cup is here.
judging from the fanatic fans around the neighbourhood, one cant help but be a little bit of influence. the macdonalds, the kopitiam, even the toddlers in the playground are taking penalty kicks everywhere.
the toughest job on earth- referee
In season, the job requires high physical activity level, off season, the job requires high activity level to keep fit and all. the players all 22 of them on the field look up to you and also for you. they fear the colours of red and yellow . To qualify, i think u have to know the game first and have a quick eye for details, sensitive to touches and good lungs to blow a stadium of whistle.
the players
The hair, the colours, the boots they wear. Everything is taken care of. well-paid job that allows you to kick around, flex some muscle , show some abs. Young or old, pple around the world recognises you, remembers you even at the streets, or even 3 world cups later.
have a short name-kaka or a long one-fernado torres. single or double number on that dry-fit shirt.whoa, fans jus wan to have a piece too!
the fans
asian , europeans, south americans.. name it , and u will be able to spot them. dedicated even though they are nt from that country, these people are willing to spend sleepless nights jus spending the time miles away in front of the goggled box.
